Maureen Bandari

Hey guys

so motherhood caught up with me a month ago before I could put up this post. I got so tired during the last few days of my pregnancy. I kept cancelling my shoot because of fatigue and partly because I forgot about it all together. Eventually I managed to shoot five days prior to my baby girl’s arrival. I knew from the beginning that I wanted a beach shoot with the breeze blowing my chiffon dress and both my husband and I had a good time shooting this for sure. we went for a simple and relatable theme with a little creativity here and there.

I got this beautiful head chain from mellow which my sister got for me during my baby shower and I was looking forward to rocking it again. It kinda makes me feel like a goddess. I made this chiffon dress which absolutely took a lot of fabric but turned out great. For some reason I was just into red during this final period and you can clearly see that. For those who may end up asking, no that is not a weave, it is my hair thanks to the pregnancy hormones. Next time however I will probably braid my hair because I almost plucked some during labour. lol. Anyway I do thank God for a beautiful and stress free pregnancy. Apart from the morning sickness I was fine all through. My bump was small and manageable up until the last month where I got so big all of a sudden. You know you are about to pop when you have just one or two dresses that still fit and the rest have been tossed out.

Anyway As usual, enjoy the pictures and if you haven’t downloaded my FREE e-book on 10 ways to slay on a budget, please do so HERE

Also do look out for a new post every Wednesday for the next few weeks as I get my life together. Posts will be random i.e my style, motherhood, story time, lifestyle, life hacks etc therefore if you have something you would love for me to talk about, let me know in the comment section below
