Hey guys, Today marks my six weeks post partum and I am slowly but surely feeling like my old self again. I had my doctor’s appointment yesterday and I am thrilled that all is well and I can resume my favorite activity; swimming. I remember Someone asked me on my social media what exercises I used to do while pregnant . At first, I used to jog and walk up until my morning sickness couldn’t take it anymore. I took a break from it all at three months and started swimming or rather continued swimming from the fourth month to the last. In addition, I had a gym ball which I used for pelvic exercises every other day in the house. That was basically it, nothing strenuous. I will probably do the same for now until I’m done with exclusive breastfeeding then I can go ham on exercising (well, not that I am a fan of the gym….)
I try not to think of the calories right now even though your body reminds you when you try on something and it doesn’t fit yet. I will probably share my journey with you guys but for now the only exercise I’m doing is drinking a lot of water. lol. Don’t be fooled by all those celebrity snap backs post partum.
I will be sharing some of the looks that I forgot to show you guys today and the next few posts. I was four months pregnant at the time 🙂 I have always had a thing for peter pan collars and i love this dress just for that. My favorite colour at this point was black for some reason, so weird because I am always into colours. Anyway, I had this dress made and it accommodated my tiny tummy really well for some time. This was the first time I was trying out long curly hair and I see myself investing in such in future. love it
